Visiting the zoo makes for a fun day for locals and tourists alike. But what happens when you want to reach potential visitors who aren’t there? How do you get them to remember the adventure they’re missing? To help The San Francisco Zoo solve for this dilemma, we created a walking tour  around San Francisco all built around visually interesting QR helping people learn more about animals while seamlessly integrating with their site to provide real-time data points. We called our effort “Summer Safari.”

Out-of-Home

Sample rogue and paid out-of-home advertising, placed strategically around San Francisco for Summer Safari. Viewers who scanned and engaged with the postings were brought to domain pages that updated them on the animals habits, behaviors and recent antics.

Print Work

Purposefully jarring, we replaced animal heads and body parts with QR codes. We developed two looks for various mediums.
